PEPFAR small grant funded project was implemented by the West Africa AIDS Foundation between September 2015 and June 2016.
Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission started in 2007 with support from the National AIDS Control Programme. Over 1000 women have and continue to benefit from this intervention at the onsite clinic. Since 2014 the onsite clinic has not recorded a single case of HIV infection of the babies among it cohort of HIV infected mothers.
The Nothing for Us without Us (NUWU) project implemented by the West Africa AIDS Foundation and sponsored by Stop TB Partnership International has achieved a major part of its goal of having members from the TB affected communities play a major role in decision-making related to TB Care in Ghana.
