West Africa AIDS Foundation (WAAF) on January 11, 2017 was officially mentioned as one of the PACF’s implementing partners as a proposal submitted by WAAF for a 2017 to 2020 project was approved by the PACF Board.

In Ghana, up until recently, there was no specific program designed at targeting pregnant women when it comes to TB. Although a recent TB Prevalence Survey identified this group as belonging to a higher risk group for TB, Screening for TB amongst Pregnant women had not been integrated into the regular pre-natal care and the lack of such services, could cause pregnant women to develop TB disease if indeed infected with TB.

Community Home-Based Care (CHBC) programs have been established in many parts of the world as a community response to the HIV epidemic.
